About the American Advertising Awards

The American Advertising Awards are the advertising industry’s largest and most representative creative competition, recognizing creative excellence in the art of advertising with over 40,000 entries each year from around the country.


Representing the broadest creative spirit of advertising by recognizing all forms of advertising; in all varieties of media; created by all sizes and types of entrants; and from all over the country. ADDY Award winners truly represent the best creative the industry has to offer.


With the American Advertising Awards, it is the size of the idea that matters most, not the size of the organization that created the work, nor the size of the budget behind it. This distinction elevates the American Advertising Awards over virtually every other advertising competition.

    The best of restaurant and/or food advertising in LA. 

    • This can be in any media format.

  • The Elevated Award

    The best of cannabis and/or hemp advertising in LA. 

    • This can be in any media format. 
    • The advertising must be for a Los Angeles based business or created by a Los Angeles based agency.
  • Her Award

    The best of advertising for women-owned businesses in LA. 

    • This can be in any media format.

  • The Gaming & Technology Award

    The best of advertising for gaming and/or technology companies in LA.

    The best of innovative advertising in LA, work that sets a new standard, challenges the norm, or amazes with a huge “WOW” factor.
